Kathy Spitz

is currently founder and owner of Spitz Consulting LLC, a member of the Duke Corporate Education Global Learning Resource Network and the Fulcrum Network.

Kathy has significant talent and high motivation for the Organisation Development specialty. As such she enjoys challenging work that engages her abilities and skills. Having experienced a mature career in the field, she has a strong ability to teach and mentor to others. In her current role, Kathy specialises in consulting with individuals, groups and organisations working toward better solutions for increased effectiveness. This work spans the organisation design, teambuilding, leadership development, change management, training, facilitation and executive coaching disciplines.

Kathy who resides in Chapel Hill, NC, has had a distinguished career working with senior executives, executive teams, project teams, and individuals in a wide range of national and multi-national organisations. 

She specialises in Leadership Development, Team Development, Process Consulting, Organisation Redesign, Large Systems Change Projects, Change Management, Workshop facilitation and Executive and Individual coaching.

Clients include: BCBSNC, GSK, Cisco, Taconics Inc. Price Waterhouse Coopers, the City of Raleigh, the FDA and The Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University.

Prior to establishing her own consulting practice, Kathy was a Senior Organisation Development Manager for GlaxoSmithKline, a world leading research-based pharmaceutical company. In this capacity, she provided a full range of organisation development services including organisation diagnosis, organisation design, process consulting, executive team development and individual coaching, primarily geared toward changes associated with post merger integration. In total Kathy has over 30 years of large corporate experience. Kathy holds an MS degree in organisation development from American University. She is a member of the National and Regional Organisation Development Networks and the American University/National Training Labs Alumni Network.
